KARNA DEFEATED JARASANDHA

Karna helps Duryodhana in kidnapping Bhanumati and Jarasandha accepts his defeat from Karna

The outstanding warrior like Jarasandha; descendant of Brihadratha of Magadha was defeated by the hands of Karna once! That was truly stunning. no doubt all of us are aware of the truth that Bhima killed him in  combat as instructed by way of lord Krishna prior to the Rajasuya yajna of Yudhishthira. In Drona Parva, After the death of Ghatotkacha, Lord Krishna defined to Arjuna that superb warriors like Jarasandha used to have a Sarvaghaatini or Omnidirectional mace that could kill Bhima in the course of his battle with Jarasandha. That mace was destroyed with a weapon named Stunakarna earlier by way of Balarama once at some point of his combat with Jarasandha. With the force of that weapon, that amazing mace penetrated extirpated the earth and fell on the put in which Demoness Jara used to stay eventually, the mace killed Jara beside her children and relatives there. After Karna obtained the Brahmastras from his guru Lord Parashurama, he informed his friend Duryodhana about it. After some days, a Swayamvara was arranged in Kalinga for the daughter of king Chitrangada. Her name was Bhanumati. Kalinga's capital was in Rajapur. Many kings like Shishupala, Bhishmaka, Vakra, Kapotaroma, King Nila, Rukmi, Srigala, Ashoka, Shatadhanva, Bhoja and Veera had been present there. Besides many east, north, and south side kings, Mlech and Aryas joined there. After knowing about the Swayamvara Duryodhana alongside Karna reached the capital of Kalinga too. All those kings possessed energy just like lions. One after one all the king got introduced there. At that point, Bhanumati crossed Duryodhana there in her Swayamvara. Duryodhana could not tolerate her going to other kings and for that reason, he forcefully stopped her in front of all of them. He abducted Bhanumati and took her from there in his chariot. that time he had the madness of courage inside him due to the support that he used to have from his Bhishma Pitamaha and Dronacharya. Karna also followed him. Few of those kings charged towards them however were defeated by way of Karna and Duryodhana there. Karna quickly used his arrows at all of those kings there and made them aggravating. All those kings could not even use their Dhanush or mace in opposition to Karna. Karna killed their charioteers and defeated almost all of them. He guarded Duryodhana up to the Hastinapur.

After understanding the glory of Karna, Jarasandha challenged him for Dverath Yudh. each of them knew the usage of Divyastras. They both used many arrows against each other on the battlefield. they had huge combat. They both destroyed each other's Dhanush and all the bolts and became unarmed. Then they each began Malla Yudha or combat wrestling there. Karna thru his strong arms started to split the body of Jarasandha which was once merged by way of manner of Jara demon. After seeing that notable courage of Karna, Jarasandha then got far away from him and became pleased with him. He presented him Malini Nagar of Anga Desh. Karna became the king of Anga. moreover, as in keeping with Duryodhana's command, he additionally controlled Champa Nagri.
