After paying attention to him, Karna respectfully took the permission of Drona and went to Mahendra mountain to meet with Lord Parashurama.

Karna introduced himself as a Bhrigu Brahmin to Lord Parashurama. Lord Parashurama accepted him as his disciple and welcomed him to his hermitage. whilst staying on that heavenly mountain, Karna got possibilities to meet with many Yakshas, Gandharvas, Demons, and Deities there. After learning the Astras from his guru, Karna continually practiced there and became popular amongst those demons, deities, and Gandharvas. Neither Karna could throw that insect away nor kill it. He did not want to awaken his Guru from sleep or disturb him. That insect continuously stung Karna there. consequently, his blood came out from the wound and touched his guru. Lord Parashurama asked him how could he make him unpure with his blood? Karna showed him that insect and defined him about its bite.

I roamed on this earth like inside the sinful Insect yoni however now has been freed by means of manner of you only. " after saying this, he offered his prayers to Lord Parashurama and left him. Then Lord Parashurama was amazed to see how could a Brahmin tolerate this kind of large pain of Insect stinger. He doubted Karna to be a Kshatriya and questioned him about it. Karna told him the reality of being born to the Shudra clan who with a goal to acquire the expertise of Astra came near Lord Parashurama.
